Children: We have a 5 year old son named Brandon who has severe allergies.

We are living in our home in Pascagoula, Mississippi. My husband is currently tearing out walls to sheetrock and replace insulation. We live approx. 5 miles from the beach so had water in our home due to the storm surge. We lost most of our furniture and a lot of personal belongings. My mother also lives with us and lost most of her belongings too. We lost a total of 3 vehicles, 2 which only had liability insurance coverage. My husband has not returned to work yet. We are fortunate that we still have a home to repair but we did not have flood coverage. The amount the insurance is covering along with FEMA help is not going to be enough to cover the repairs. I am thankful that my husband is able to do most of the work himself. Any help that can be offered would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much for any help you can offer. We just got a FEMA trailer yesterday so I can keep my son out of the insulation and sheetrock while my husband is doing repairs. Things are slowly getting somewhat back to normal but it will be a long time before we fully recover. We sincerely appreciate the outpouring of support and prayers that have been so graciously offered during this time.
